Unit 1: Analyzing Lines on a Graph
In the graph below, the straight line S is given by the equation y = c + dx. As the line shifted, the constant "d" which is the slope, must have changed. It is difficult to tell if the constant "c," the y-intercept, also changed unless you extend the lines to meet the y-axis.
