So, what's the point?
When you make the decision to use a memory device, it needs to be based on a number of factors. First you need to decide what you need to learn. Next you need to consider your learning strengths. For example, if you are an auditory learner then your memory device should make use of your auditory strength. Your interest and background knowledge will also need to be considered in your decisions. Finally, your strategy needs to be based on the combination. You should notice that the memory strategies that you use might be different in each of your courses because your background knowledge and interest affects the strategy as well as the content.
