Graphic Organizers
A graphic organizer is a note-taking tool that aids your learning and increases your ability to prepare for an exam. As you create the graphic organizer, you are studying the information because you need to think about how the individual bits of information relate to each other. As you restructure the material from text to a visual image, you are learning the information. The restructuring, or synthesizing, of the information forces you to think about the material in a different way, so instead of seeing it in text it is in graphic form.
