Obtaining transcripts may take more time than you had anticipated. Allow time for your high school to process and send the official transcript directly to the college admissions office. Contact your school's guidance counselor to determine the process necessary to obtain your academic transcripts. If your transcripts are issued to you instead of sent directly to the college, DO NOT break the seal on the envelope. Some schools may not accept "unofficial" transcripts that have been handled by the student. Some colleges require a Secondary School Report to track your progress while they are reviewing your applications.
